Here's your M51 manual:
http://www.invacare.com/doc_files/1125085J.pdf
Trouble codes start at p25.
Also, Invacare is proud of the M51's wet-weather performance (check the "Rain Test" chapter in the manual. You might have a warranty issue. Check with an Invacare dealer.

My m51 flashes 11 times on joy stick what is that

The diagnostic code would indicate a bad control box. It could also be too low a voltage from the batteries or a bad or broken wire or connector between the joystick and the control box. Chair will need a technician from a good dealer to help out if battery's and wiring are good.

Light come on controller no flashing code lights joy stick does not work

The M51 could have the motor clutch levers in the free wheel/push mode and the joystick will not blink if this is the case. Make sure that the chair cannot be pushed. If it can be pushed it means it is in free wheel and you need to lock the motors in gear.

If it is in gear and the joysticks green light does not change color or blink it could be that the joystick is bad. When nothing happens and the lights don't blink when you push the joystick knob the chairs controller basically isn't recognizing the joystick movement.
Time to have the joystick repaired or more. Have a technician look at it.

I would dry it completely and try it again. it may need to be opened and dried on the inside, or replace the joystick.

When operating the Pronto M51 power wheelchair with the joystick, it will only move forward and backward. It will not turn. What do you think the problem is?

I would suggest that the micro switches that the joy stick operate have become faulty or got out of adjustment. contact the makers service agent to fix the problem

My pronto m51 sure step service light is flashing seven time and it will only turn to the right

sarah check the joystick cable try unplugging it from the rear of the joystick and plugging it back in then unplug it at the back of the chair and plug it back then turn the chair on to see if you are still getting 7 flashes. If you are then you have one of 2 problems the joystick cable somehow is bad or the joystick itself has got a problem try the cables first to see if it fixes the problem If Medicare paid for the chair then they will pay for most of the repair Contact Roadrunner Mobility @ 1-800-467-2668 Hope this helps you

Won't move pronto m51

Three lights flashing on your chair indicate a left motor fault. Make sure that all of the connections inside the shroud are tight by physically testing them. If all of the connections are good, and the fuses are good, then it's time for a trip to an authorized repair facility. Here is a link to the M51 owners manual if you haven't one. Page 24 has the fault code guide.
http://www.invacare.com/doc_files/1125085.pdf

The controller monitors all of the functions on the chair, brakes, motors, joystick, charger etc. The three flash fault indicates an "open" circuit. Open, like a switch or blown fuse is open, or a wire is cut or burned in half, or a connector is unconnected, or partially connected. The latter is what you are hoping for. Wires burned in half is the usual cause for a motor fault, and with powerchairs, is usually the result of the chair getting stuck in or against something it can't get out of and the operator over-amping the motors. Motors do, just go bad sometimes, for no reason. Very rarerly, however.

You can also check the brushes on the motor too. There's two quarter-sized black plastic screw-plugs on the ends of the motor opposite each other. Unscrew them and examine the brushes. The springy coils should be springy. Overheating can cause them to be brittle, or even burned in two. Check the lench of the brush, the dark rectangular cube at the end of the springs. It should be curved and polished at the end, and a little over a half-inch long. If it is near a 1/4 inch, it needs replaced, or if there is any evidence of overheating, replace. Good luck.
