Can laptop start without battery?

don't stop! lol sounds like battery could be the problem or is there enough fulid in the transmission?

Have you tried anther charger must be charger if it dnt power on without batt

Simple fix turn on the puter on the logo screen press F10 to go into bios setup page scroll over to battery calibration on the tabs on top you will see HDD and Battery choose battery.
Now hit calibrate.
1- Recharge
2- Discharge
2- Recharge

Let the puter complete all of the sessions without interruptions.

It is most likely your battery or terminal on the battery. If it stays running after it is jumped the charging system is working correctly so a battery would solve your problem. Hope this helps!

Not the battery if it turns over. If you keep trying to start it without any luck, eventually the battery will drain on you. Check all your fuses. Make sure you have spark, then if spark is ok, make sure your fuel pump is working. you need those two to make the car start. fuel+spark=ignition. Also verify that your antitheft light is not flashing in your dash while trying to start, if it is, turn the key to the on position and wait 10min. for the the light to come off as this will SHUT THE FUEL **** OFF.

try putting the recovery disc in the puter for a reboot, and follow directions to allow it to repare itself, i been doing this alot with laptops lately, seems to be the only solution i can do ....shia

hi , ok let srart , whath kind a battery you put in it , if you use alkakyne battery that no good , you need NiMH kind rechargeble yvon chow !!!

1. Try cleaning the lens with a cotton swab and isopropyl alcohol and making sure it is dry before trying it again. Please make sure laptop is not plugged in and battery is removed before you do this
   
2. return to seller and ask for warranty
3. if warranty is expired then you need to buy a new dvdwriter. Cheapest probably you can get it in ebay
