HP Windows 7 recovery media on usb would not boot. I used easyBCD to make it bootable and got a message that \windows\system32\boot\winload.exe not found. I put a copy in all drives in windows\system32\boot\, message remains the same. I tried all options in easyBCD booting from recovery partition then usb. Changed active partition from recovery to system, then rebuild bcd. No change. any ideas on how to beat this?
SOURCE: recovery manager does not detect recovery partition
THERE IS A WAY if your recovery partition is not damage
goto mange by right click on my computer
click on disk manager
right click on d: make it active
and restart your computer.
if partiotion has no errors like missing files or bad sectors
your recovery goes on fine.
