If you created recovery discs put in the first one and reboot follow the prompts
if you didn't make recovery discs you can purchase a set from one of these retailers I would purchase from Emachines

Will my emachine t5274 run windows 7?

You should be able to upgrade to Windows 7 with little problem. I've done it on a few different laptops.

Where do I plug in the power sw and power led wire on the eMachines T5274 computer? Thanks

When looking at the motherboard with the back of the computer to your left, there should be a row of pins on the lower right corner of the motheboard (or close to the corner). These pins are normally marked as something like PLED (for the power LED), PWR SW for power switch, RST for reset, IDE LED for the hard drive light, etc.
The power switch is normally along the bottom row and the power LED is on the top. But--to find where the power switch goes, take a small screwdriver and short two of the pins to see if the computer turns on. If it does, you've found the power switch. When the computer is running, put the power LED plug across two pins to see if the power light lights. If it doesn't, try two more until you find it.

I have a emachines T5274 with vista home Premium.... and when i turn in on the Emachines logo pops up BUT stay up for a long time around 1-2 mins and it use to be around 4 secs!! then it goes into the...

It sounds like you may be trying to load a lot of temp files.
Go to CNet.com download Advanced Systems Care "Free Edition"
Follow the directions to clean up your system.
If that does not fix the problem Download a copy of Glary Registry Repair (also free) and run that.
These are two of the best software packages to have.
I have been useing them both for a long time, and have tried others, but these two are far and away the best I have found- and they are free!

Does my t5274 have tv-out function?

It does not have a TV-out function as it comes from E-Machines, but it does have an open PCI-X expansion slot, so you could buy a video card with TV-out if you wanted to add that feature.

If this helps, please be sure to hit the "thumbs-up" button for me.
If not, use the "add comment" and I'll do my best to help
