It is a kenmore washner
You should check the floor under the washer. front load washers need to be on a hard surface such as concrete. if it is on a wood floor chances are it will shake.
Our's did this, it shook horribly. it turns out one (or more) of the shocks had come out and the technician had to come out and replace the shocks.
Mine shakes during the spin cycle. It only shakes at certain frequencies which tells me that there's an eccentric load or a shot bearing. After learnign about the problem, I think I'll just go out and get a new washing machine... but not a Frigidaire/Kenmore rebranded model. Paid $1100 for this 5 1/2 years ago. Expected it to last longer than this. Obviously either the engineers @$% up or the buyer purchased poor quality bearings.
I was told by 3 technicians that my washer had shot bearings and this is a common problem for the Kenmore Elite Front loader.
Sears knows it and it costs $800 to replace the unit with the
bearings. They will not do anything about it except try to sell you
a new washer.
I will not buy this washer again (especially from Sears).
My did this until I had a technician out for the pump and I told him about this problem. Turns out the feet weren't locked in place.
Hi
First check if the machine is level .Also makes sure you do not have an unbalanced load. Lint filter between the tubs is loose/broken, tub nut and drive block is worn, bad brake, worn spin tub are some various reasons when washer shakes in spin cycle.

I also have this problem. The bearings can be replaced, but it is a very big job (4 or 5 hours). When I took the back apart and removed the pulley, I could see that the bearing was shot (all of the balls where blown out) There is a retaining clip that makes it look like the bearing can be replaced, but i cannot get the outer race off. This is actually made by Fridgidaire and apparently a very common problem. I would not recommend either.
