Is a JBL REM35 remote compatable with a JBL MR25 stereo?

I have a MR25 and would like to install a wired remote with a display in instead of the REM25 that does not have a display. Can this be accomplished?

I have a jbl mr-145 in a hot tub. It keeps powering on and off???

I have the same model stereo in a brand new hot tub that was having the same issue. To fix it all u need to do is pull the front cover off to access the pump controls and in there you will find a black box where a power cable runs yo the stereo. There are two screws that open a little door in the black box. In there you will need a small flat head screwdriver to move a redswit over to the 110 volts position. Turn the radio on and it should work. That black box just controls the power to the stereo.

Compatibility issues iPhone 3G - JBL On Stage IIIp

hi there, believe it or not, apple has put a authentication chip into newer devices. It won't allow you to play music or display video on devices that are old. Apple wants you to go out and buy new accessories for the new stuff to make more money. My suggestion is to sell it on eBay and use the money to get a newer compatible dock with your iPhone.

My jbl stereo wont turn on. when i turn my truck on it just lights up and then goes straight back off

Hi there Willieulin.
I wonder if the speakerwires are shorting the amp in the JBL stereo!
One or more speakers could be blown......
The protection circuit is most likely doing its job, protecting your stereosystem from damage.
If you have a extra amp connected to the stereo, check if it is wired right.
Try to turn the ignition key "only" so the lights on the stereo turn on. If you turn it further so you start the engine it most likely turns the stereo off.
If that happens the powerwires to the stereo are wrongly connected.
Luck with the problem.
Iceman.

I have a JBL MR-17.2 Sirius Ready stereo

To get your Sirius ID number from you MR-17 JBL stereo, select the Mode button until it displays "Sirius". Then push and hold the Mode button for a couple seconds and it will chirp and display 3 blank spaces. Enter three zeros, "000" in these 3 spaces. The Zero is the loud button labeled "LD". When you do that, it will display your Sirius ID number. :)

Jbl stereo does not have power

You need to confirm that you have B+ and remote voltage at the amplifier.

With your multimeter set to DC volts, the black meter lead on the ground terminal of the amp and the head unit on (so the amp will have remote voltage applied), touch the red lead alternately to the B+ and remote terminals of the amp. If the voltage is below ~11 volts, you need to check the wiring feeding whichever line is too low.
