Where can I send my Dancing Mickey to have it repaired?

There is an on off switch on the side,also you have a selection switch on the same
side. Select either round track or straight track. Place the train on selected track,the
straight track with the arrows pointing in the direction of travel,then press the
Mickey symbol on the train body. Wipe the bottom of the train now and again to
make good contact.

This may be something as simple as REVERSING the line wires or a bad tone pad. Some pre 1980's tone pads didn't have polarity guard (EPG) and that's what we used to restrict dialing on touch tone lines (poor man's dialing restriction).

You can open up the jack the phone plugs into and reverse the red and green wires, or open up the phone and do the same thing. If it were my choice, I'd reverse the jack. If that doesn't fix it, pry off the faceplate cover over the dial, read the part number on the right side of the tone pad and post back. I'm sure I have an equivalent in the warehouse (outside of my 2 TT Mickey's) that I can give you a price on.

I am in the repair service directory at the bottom of this page, I am Mike at the RITE TIME BASICS in Florida and I do some work on the 40"s, 70"s and 80"s Mickey watches. Or you try to look for a small watch repair shop in your area and have them take a look at your Mickey watch.

Well the screen can be fixed by sending it to apple or one of many other repair shops. The water is the hard part. Your best bet is to fill a zip lock bag with dry rice and put your ipod inside and leave it for a week and maybe the rice will pull the moisture out. Water is a killer but once it dries out, you might be lucky. In the end it may cost more to repair than its worth.

One way to resolve your issue would be to run a complete Restore of the whole system. This should pose little worry to you as your PC is very new, but is only to be used as a last resort as it will TOTALLY WIPE ALL THE USER INFORMATION that you had input yourself and return your new PC to the state it was in when you first opened its lid. The specific step by step instructions or install routine you need can be found within the user manual and any install disk you may need should be supplied in the box it came in. Look in the manual for RESTORE. One last thing when restored add a USER ACCOUNT for you grandson and ensure it is set to be LIMITED not to ADMINISTRATOR and password your own account (as one MUST be set to ADMIN.) so that he will not be able to set up such a problem in the future.
