You can call the store where you bought the speakers and they should be able to point you to the right place, or go to amazon.com, they seem to have almost everything.

I need a replacement tweeter for my Harbinger 2112 speaker. which tweeter should i buy and where?

Best option is to replace like with like if a genuine replacement can be sourced, perhaps from the manufacturer.

There are lots of audio suppliers and constructor stores so it shouldn't be difficult to find a suitable replacement of the right dimensions and power handling capability.

One option it might be worth exploring is a piezo tweeter. They should have really become popular as they are light and provide good reproduction and don't need a crossover.

Depends whether you want volume or quality - the horn tweeter remains the best option for quality due to the better sound dispersion and the fact the horn design means the tweeter is operating in it's own isolated space and is mostly unaffected by the pressure waves from the other drive units. If building a speaker box from scratch I would always place the tweeter in a small completely separate air tight compartment...

Hey.. I just bought a Bx8 studiophille.. Unfortunately I got cheated.. One of the speakers tweeter is not working.. Can you give me a solution.. Where can I get it replace??

How sure are you that't you tweeter and not a contact cable or, sunce they use cheap xhinese capacitors on the m-audio, just a capacitor has dead. Don't buy a tweeter, since they very often die and check the inputs , especially TRS amd rca and unscrew the the backplate and you'll notice that the cables and connectors used are cheapio. So it worth to check the pcb,s if you see broken caps. Which wouldn't surprise me , since their cheap once. And before buy another tweeter, first try it out on another small amplifier, to see if it works. Buying a new ine is the last fase, they ask high prices for a 10 dollar unit. Where did you buy it and how old is the unit?

My Creature II speakers still work however the big subwoffer isnt working. I think it is probably just the cord but is there a way I can be sure

Which cord are you thinking of? If you look at the subwoofer there are 4 cords. One to the left tweeter, one to the right tweeter, one to the computer and one to the power.
  1. As both the tweeters are woring then those 2 cords are OK.
  2. As both tweeters are working then the cord to the computer is OK.
  3. As both tweeters are working then the cord to the power is OK.
  4. Therefore it is not 'just the cord.'
What I would suggest is checking that the sub has not been turned down - one of the silver posts on the sub. If that is not the case and you cannot turn the sub volume up then I suggest that you replace the system. They probably cost more to repair than to buy new.

Cuoul i replace the tweeter with any 1 inch tweeter other than acoustic research?

Providing you match the power and ohm rating of the acoustic tweeter yes. You could of course have an higher rms/watts rating than the original, but not lower. The ohm though must be the same. The only thing that might happen is that it might sound different to the other speaker, as the tweeter sound quality could be better or worse than the acoustic. Of course you could buy two and replace the other speaker one too!

How do you install dome tweeters?

tweeters get installed almost like any other speaker. you pick a mounting spot, then mount them, or cut the hole for recessed tweeters, etc. run the wire to the closest speaker wire from your stereo, and just splice it in. you will however need some kind of crossover to prevent the low frequencies from being played through the tweeters. if you buy new tweets, they usually come with their own crossover, or there are a few different styles you can get.there are the passive crossovers, the ones that look like small boxes. there are also the inline filters. these are the ones that you splice into the positive speaker wire to filter out the low frequencies. and some aftermarket stereos come with some kind of filter or equalizer built in, depending on your model. what I would do is buy one of the inline filters for each tweeter. theyre inexpensive, and easy to install, and they work great. so basically, just mount the tweeter, run its wires to an existing speaker wire and splice it in, and install an inline filter on the positive wire for the tweeter. oh, one last thing. if your interior speakers are powered by an amplifier and not by the stereo, then just run the tweeter wire to the speaker outputs on the back of the stereo. too much power will definitely destroy any tweeter. good luck!

How to replace cone paper to 5cm tweeter

I doubt if you can! I would think it better to replace the tweeter. If you can't get an excat one replace it with a different one and buy two one for the other channel, the sound will then match up.
If you try to do it the problem will be getting the coil to slot in the magnet without scraping. Your probably need special equipment and that's why it will be hopeless.
