How can you remove a 7560w spray head?

  • Take out the plug button on the front side of the faucet handle and loosen the set screw with your Allen wrench, then pull off the handle. Remove the domed cap underneath the handle by unscrewing it.
  • Take off the entire spout by removing the mounting hardware under the base and lifting the spout up and off the faucet. The hose will be attached underneath the counter. Once you unscrew the connector, the spray head can be removed.

Replace diverter in 2 handle aqua source kitchen faucet

For a dual-handle Aquasource kitchen faucet with spray hose, the following instructions will afford replacement of the diverter. These instructions specifically refer to the faucet illustrated at http://pdf.lowes.com/installationguides/6953123900358_install.pdf, and the diverter identified as part RP70007 (item 14). Note the position of notches at the top of the diverter and around the rim of the base of the diverter, either of which can be used to leverage a tool to rotate the diverter out of position. Caution: The diverters on older faucets may be exceptionally brittle and thus very difficult to remove.

1. Using a pipe wrench or similar large-mouth wrench, unscrew the base of the faucet. Wrap the base with a cloth or other protective material to prevent scratching during the process of unscrewing. The base unscrews in a counter-clockwise direction.
2. With the base removed, remove the faucet. Note that a small amount of water may drain from the faucet when removed.
3. Removal of the base reveals the top of the diverter, which is a white, plastic cylinder approximately two inches long with copper stopper in the bottom. Insert a wide, flat-blade screwdriver across the notches in the top of the diverter - but be *extremely* careful. A faucet that has been installed for some length of time may have an exceptionally brittle diverter. If the upper shaft of the diverter breaks, a pair of needle-nose pliers may be used in the notches around the *base* of the diverter. Carefully rotate the diverter counter-clockwise to remove it.
4. Insert the new diverter and screw it into place in a clockwise direction. Apply a wide, flat blade across the notches in the top of the diverter to apply slight additional pressure to tighten the diverter just beyond hand-tightness.
5. Re-insert the faucet.
6. Screw the base back into position, tightening as necessary.
7. Test the operation of the diverter by operating the cold and/or hot water faucets, then the spray handle.

How do you get the handles off the Finial Traditional faucet so that I can tighten a compression nut?

Grasp the base of the handle under the lever by hnad and turn it counterclockwise. If the whole valve turns, you will need to hold the valve from underneith the sink with a wrench while you unscrew the handle base on top. It is difficult to see, even with the Finial owners manual from Kohler how the two join.

How do i remove shifter handle?

most shifters have a set screw somewhere on the base of the handle that u can unscrew and just unscrew the knob. if not then u may be able to just unscrew the knob. if the boot goes all the way up to the knob and is removable, there should be a lip on the bottom edge of the knob that the boot just fits into and can be pulled off of

How do you adjust the angle of the miter

It should move if you unscrew the handle at the base of teh table. There is also a lever on most of these saws, under the handle. Unscrew handle, operate lever to release locking pin and move. That's the theory anyway.

Electrolux contour 1100 flexihead. Z1436

You need to unscrew the screw at the back / base of the handle. The whole handle section will need to be slid backwards. Best way is to unscrew the screw on the rear approx 5 turns and then bump the end of the screwdriver. A few more turns then bump the end of the screwdriver again. The whole handle will eventually slide backwards and fall off. Then unscrew the two screws at the front (near switch) and the front switch cover plate will lift up (hinging at the top). This reveals the incoming wires etc.
