im quick guess would be nyou have a Bios MotherBoard Video Card Problem. If you are using an on board video card then that doubles your chances or it being *********** boards fault. Also do a google search for ways to reset *********** boards bios that can sometime do glory to unresolved problems. What happens if you hold you off button down for a long time (40seconds)

Hi,

Uninstall unnecessary softwares from add/remove programs. Did you noticed that cpu fan is working? If not then clean the cpu exhaust system with blower and also check the cpu fan function in BIOS. When using laptop always use flat surface to place it, mattress or sofa create problem with cooling and exhaust system of the cpu fan.

My pc get hang and not working

If there is a excessive heatup or a short circuit in cpu or if there is a surge in power, The systems protection mechanism kicks in and stops all the processing. The reasons might have fried up some cpu components which is why its not restarting. Try some more restarts and If the cpu is not working at all, then there must be a problem with the power supply

I suggest that you will open the cpu and look for wire that will connect from the restart button to the motherboard. If you have set up manual of the mother board, just follow color code of the wire that will be plugged in to motherboard. ASUS and other motherboards have connection of the wires located below the circuit board just in line with the tiny colored wires entwined by pairs.
