Could it be the plug (that plugs into the kettle) go bad and how would I test it?

Nostalgia CCP-600 turns on but won't heat up. I purchased a new kettle thinking it was the heating element but that didn't fix the problem. My husband check the wires and everything seems to be correct so my only other thought is that the plug is bad but I have no idea how to test it.

The CCP-510BLK will use the same parts as the red CCP-510. For replacement parts, try calling Nostalgia Electrics at 920-347-9122.

There are no replacement parts for Nostalgia Electrics equipment.

Double check that the kettle is plugged in, that the switch has power. If inclined open kettle and inspect wire connections and continuity, beyond that the popper is not fixable.
