Geocache list doesn't show on gps

Basecamp is displaying the contents of the gpx file. This means you've correctly imported the gpx file into Basecamp.

A copy of the gpx file needs to be separately saved into the "GARMIN/GPX" folder on your GPS via USB and your computer. (Note: I believe your Oregon has the same file structure as my Garmin Montana).

On startup, your GPS will read the new data and display the caches.

I cant turn on oregon 450

I just resolved this issue on mine. By holding down the power button when hooked to the computer via the USB cable, I was able to "force" the GPS into mass storage mode. I went to "my computer" icon and clicked on the Oregon 450 to be able to view it's hard drive contents. Open it up, delete all .gpx files for the .gpx folder. I then went to Garmin.com and downloaded/ reinstalled the current software for the gps. All this allowed me to perform the "Master Reset" function and restore the Oregon 450 to it's original functioning. Mater reset is described as follows: touch the upper left corner of the display screen and continue to hold the touch while depressing the power button. As the GPS powers up, continue to hold the touch in the upper left corner until the message screen displays : do you want to reset, press yes then it is complete. Worked for me...maybe you too!

[email protected] have a garmin oregon 550 hand held GPS but my coordinats are differnd with garmin 72 hand held (the differend 2000 m East). we are in sri lanka and we are use the USR Grid. please...

Make sure the co-ordinates are in the same format on both GPS units. There is a difference between degrees and minutes vs decimal degrees.

If this fixes your problem, please come back and rate our solution. Thank you.
