Try going to an outdoor power and equipment store of some kind. They will probably have what you need.

SOURCE: replacing fuel lines on ryobi 767r trimmer

The longest, and sometimes smaller in diameter of the two fuel lines, goes from the carburetor to the bottom of the tank. Leave enough slack in this line so that the filter that attaches to the end will rest comfortably at the bottom of the tank.

The other fuel line goes from the primer bulb to just inside the tank, (about an inch). make sure that you get the right size fuel lines. The plastic coupling goes on the end of this line, inside the tank. This keeps the line from pulling out of the tank.

(HINT): When feeding the lines through the tank holes, cut the lines at an angle. They will feed much easier into the holes. You can than cut them off square, once you know that you have enough to work with.

If you need further assistance, just let me know.

SOURCE: can't get original bump knob for the ryobi

Should be able to get on that will work at Sears, Home Depot, or menard's to name a few. Pretty generic. Think Ryobi makes models for Sears.

SOURCE: what are the carb settings for ryobi rct 2800 cb trimmer ,they have been adjusted so the correct position of the screws is not known

Hi peter beaufoy...
Before you remove or try to adjust your low and high speed jets you should always count the number of turns it takes to lightly seat the idle mixture screw and high speed needle adjusting screws.
Be sure to write the number of turns down on a piece of paper so you will know how many turns from the seated position to open the jets when you go to reinstall them, or if you remove them for cleaning or replacement.
If you have aready tried to adjust them then the adjustments below should get it running for you for final adjustment when warm.
Normally you will adjust your idle jet to 1/2-3/4 turn open from the bottom seated position.
Then you will re-adjust the low speed of the engine when the engine is warm by turning the idle screw in or out till the engine runs smoothly at idle speed, around 1200 RPM.
The high speed jet is adjusted to 1 1/2- 1 3/4 open from the bottom seated position, after the engine is warm.
Then re-adjusted by turning the High Speed jet adjustment screw in or out till the motor runs smoothly at high speed.
Alway use the "lightly seated" method if you have not changed the screw settings.

Ryobi bump head knob is locked, wont turn to remove. Any tricks?

I would recommend using something a bit more hefty like self adjusting locking pliers or even a plumbers' pipe wrench. If you can get the bump feed to free up, but it's out of trimmer line you may be able to manual spool it. Found a how-to vid on youtube that may be relevant to your model Ryobi trimmer -

How do you change the string feeder on a ryobi gas

If your machine is a "bump feed" there should be a knob on the bottom of the string feed.....this is a LEFT HAND thread, so turn it clock wise and it should pop free and unscrew....re-string your cartridge and replace it tightening the knob counterclockwise until it stops....that should do it !!!... ;-D

How do u remove the bump feed spool from the bump feed string head on my ryobi gas trimmer

Grasp the outer portion of the cutting head in your left hand and turn the inner knob with your right. Depending on model, some bump knobs are threaded and some are post and notch. Use a little spray like wd40 to loosen the mechanism. It may take a firm hand, but the two will separate so that you can reload the line. Consider reloading with the .095 five sided line. It cuts much easier than the round line.

I have a ryobi model 100 and do not know how to change the trimmer line.

Take the plastic knob that releases more line when you bump it on the ground, push it down, and twist. It should pop off (maybe with a tug, or pry it out with a screw driver) but watch out for the spring underneath it.

Just the head or the attachment? The piece on the bottom, the bump knob can be unscrewed, sometimes are left hand thread. The attachments are screw off also I believe. Some may have two little pegs you push in and unattach it. Hope this helps. Please rate me
