I am having trouble with my water faucet in my pop up. When we hook up pressurized water to the system the faucet will not stop running like the valve will not shut off. And, when we try to use the 5 gal internal tank it will not pump the water into the sink. It seems to just be drawing air from the pressurized water inlet. The FUMP faucet is less than a year old. Thanks for any help!
There is a 3 port valve conneted to the incomming water line (white usually). It is actually a check valve to keep the outside water from overfilling your tank. Verify it is installed correctly.
Make sure you have a water regulator connected to the water source before connecting it to your RV or the pressure could blow out your plumbing. The force of the water coming from the faucet can be too much for any RV and a regulator can be purchased from RV dealers, camping world, and even some Wal Marts carry them.
Well I see from the way this unit hooks up it will put a back pressure on the faucet valve so I would take the handle off and then turn the faucet on with the stem and see where the water is coming from. It is possible that the retaining ring for the faucet cartridge is loose or the back pressure has forced a seal out of place. I know this does not explain why it does it only when it is hooked up but you need to get to the area where the water is coming from.
