When I try to charge my phone it states that it is unable to charge.
Check the contacts between phone and battery,
if necessary align or clean. Are
you using original Motorola charger? This solved my problem; I was trying to charge
it with one of those "universal" chargers.

Just tried removing the battery and placed it back in but phone is still saying unable to charge.
Went to the phone store and bought a new charger and it's still not working. The customer service rep could not help me any futher because the computers were down. Could it be possible that I may need a new battery?
Update....went back to the phone store today and waited in line for 1hr just so the unhelpful customer service agent can tell me that the problem was my phone! Ummmm I'm no tech support genius,but if it was in fact the phone then it would not be able to go to the home screen and leave me the nice message "unable to charge!" Is there any other solution that I might me able to try in order to fix this problem?
