You can't use SDCARD for CTK810 model.

Please connect to a computer using a USB cable. Then you can use a commercial MIDI file player to play to your keyboard.
Alternatively, you can download SMF Converter from
http://music.casio.com/e/smf/
This program will convert SMF (.mid files) into a format readable by your Casio keyboard and then load it directly into your keyboard.

How do I connect my GK3 equipped guitar to an Electric Piano or Synth ?

You cannot connect a Gk3 directly to an electric piano or synth. What you have to do is connect the 13 pin DIN connecting cable from the gk3 to the input on a Roland guitar synth unit like GR 20 or the GR 55 which supplies the desired instrument tones as required. The synth can be connected via 5 pin midi cable to an external synth to provide further tones...I personally have never used a keyboard to provide extra tones because I am a guitarist so only used synth modules and not keyboard ....remember also you need an amp or pa system to hear the sound output from the guitar synth module or external module.

I have casio CTK 5000. i want to download additional tones and rhythms on it . kindly suggest the site as well as the file formats it will recognize for this model. also kindly describe the total procedure...

It is possible to load new rhythms and tones in the CTK-5000. But you need the stuff. That is what it really lacks. Casio needs the Rhythms and tones in its own formats.

A gap occur when i change tones on my juno G i.

Yep! When changing VOICE's (we don't call them tones) the generator chips and processing within the synth has to clear out the old voice generation and free up the generators for the new selections. As fast as the processors are, gaps can occur.

Some of the higher end synths are much faster or have so many generators available and processing power that they can do a more orderly transistion.

I am not sure how many generators the JUNO has, but tyoically two are used for every note being keyed. The specs say 128 note polyphony which should be the number of generators... HOWEVER they say these are SHARED with the audio track section. Layering of voices will also divide the number of available generators.

A lot of the arranger keyboards are NOT intended to be played LIVE and as a result transistions of voices are not done on the fly smoothly.

Can the casino CT655 keyboard be split

In a way the answer is YES... BUT ONLY some of the tones will split on the keyboard... and unlike the new conventions of splitting above F#2, the CT 655 splits at B2.

Read your user's manual on page 11.

Cannot get 'stereo' output from my roland d50. can get both U and L tones on the 'mono' output (L) and also both tones from the U output but with the L disconnected. Is this simply a jack socket switching...

The two jacks are mixed with a simple resistor mixer UNLESS plugs are put into BOTH of them to open switches and disable the cross tie. If either jack is empty of a plug, the remaining jack has the mixed left and right signals.

What kind of strings are best for washburn X 10

the washburn X10 is an electric guitar.

first thing you you want to make sure of is that you ask for electric guitar strings

next consider what kind of music your are playing...

heavier music or really moody warm tones your going to want thicker strings

med to heavy guage

if you want clear crisp tones than go with lighter guage

light to med

lighter guages are also easier on the finger tips.

the sizes usually refer the the smallest string on the bottom or the first string.

9 is the light 10-11 is med 12 is heavy

you might also want to consider nylon coated strings

they last longer

have great tone

easy on the fnger tips

but they cost more
