How to convert ATW 'Version 2.0' databases to work in 'Version 9.0' ?

I bought "AnyTime version 2.0" in 1993, and use them until now over Windows95, 98 and XP. Can "AnyTime organizer Deluxe 9.0" convert my 'ATW' database V2.0. I don't want lost 10 years of entries.

How to convert older "atw" files for a newer "AnyTime Organizer version"?

This often happens when you step up several versions at one time. A suitable workaround is to load your old version, EXPORT the data from the unsupported version and then IMPORT into the new version. Individual Software, the manufacturer of the package has great technical support--if this doesn't meet your needs, please contact them directly! http://www.individualsoftware.com/support/

I have just purchased a new computer with Works 9 pre-installed, but it is asking for a product key if I want to use Word. I do not seem to have been sent a Product Key other than the one on the computer...

The preinstalled software was a evaluation product the manufacturer was paid to install on your computer.

You do not need to enter a registration key to continue working with the native Microsoft Works 9 SE applications: Works Word Processor, Works Spreadsheet, and Works Database. However, the integrated Microsoft Office 2007 trial version is for evaluation purposes only. At the end of the trial period the product will go into reduced functionality mode and you will have the option to convert it into a full version. You can obtain a 60-day trial registration key from the Microsoft web site or you can buy the program and get a full license key.

I downloaded an old PC game but the problem is it won't open or start the game. What should I do? my PC is intel Pentium 3, 256 RAM.

Depending on the age of the game, you may have to get a computer with an older version of Windows. Many older games won't work on anything newer than Windows95.

I keep a Windows95 machine around just for this purpose.

If that's not the problem, can you post a comment specifying the game?

Microsoft works 7.0

From the Microsoft Office 2003 Web site:

Excel 2000 or later versions cannot directly open files created in Microsoft Works version 3.0 or later. To open a Works file in Excel, first open it in Works and use the Save As command to convert it to one of the file formats listed below. Then close the Works file and open the converted version in Excel.
  • Works for Windows 2.0/Works for DOS SS
  • Excel SS
  • Lotus 1-2-3
To open a Microsoft Works database file in Excel, first save the file in Microsoft Works as a dBASE file, and then open the dBASE file in Excel.
