My casio ex-750 has suddenly started saying memory is full after I have taken just 4 or 5 pictures. I tried another card from my husbands camera but it wouldn't work. I love this camera as the photo quality is great and its easy to use Please help
Several things.the camera won't accept a card formatted off another camera.use a card that doesn't have pictures on it,format it in camera not on computer.if the camera still reverts to internal memory then the pins are probably bent.also there should be something in menu to switch between internal and external memory.also check card protect switch.
Delete the photos off the internal memory and remove the battery. this will reset it the factory setting and that should clear it up

It sound like a bent pin issue. Look at the bottom of the memory card slot, you probably bent one or more of the contactor pins. Use a small screwdriver and carefully try to straight the bent pin then carefully put the memory card back in. From now on, use a USB cable for downloading your pictures and don't pull the card out anymore as the pin is probably weaker than before and can break. Good luck !

I have had this issue on several Casio camera the lens comes out fine and then goes right back in some times it just gives you two beeps and nothing else. the problem is with the lens its focus motor is out of ajustment. According to Casio this is not covered under any type of warrenty coverage and that ****.but hehe sometimes you can take it back to places like bustbuy and if you have your receipt they will sometime swap it out. But lets say they don't. well you sometime can get a replacement lens for it off ebay for pretty cheap. This is only if you are sure that you can fix the camera. If you choose to have it fixed make sure you shop around there is a huge diffrence between shop to shop.

It is the shutter (or at least it was for me) I found a simple test here: http://www.mydc.com.tw/repair/knowledge_en/casio-exilim-ex-s600-overexposure-t17.html
I repaired it myself, but it took me a whole afternoon and lots of patience.
The hard part is taking the camera apart, once I got to the shutter I just activated it manually so to dislodge any pieces that might have gotten jammed, then placed it back together again and it worked! :).
It's really hard to take apart, it's like a puzzle sometimes, to find which screws are keeping it together. I also had a bit of hard time when it came to put the zoom back together again.
But I guess it beats throwing the camera away.
I'm still puzzled on how the CCD works so that an overexposure would make horizontal overexposed lines, but everything points to that. Fixed shutter, lines be gone.

My camera is now up and running again, thank you very much (Y)
I found the problem - although my camera was only showing that there were 4 or 5 photos, when I put the card into my card reader and accessed it via computer there was a file of photos still there which would not show up on the camera? I'm not sure how on earth this happened but having deleted that file from the card via computer the camera is now working fine.
