Does the d300 spec# 8049 also work as a Cheese grater

The fuse gear may have failed, if it has your beater will also not drive properly. I'm not familiar with a grater on your model.

The best thing I can point you to is HobartCorp. website you will have to become a new member it is free. Once you have become a new member you will want to log into spec sheets, type the model number D300, at the bottom of the page that pops up it will show parts catalog this will give you a blowup of all the gears and how they go together. Putting one of these together is not easy you may need to find some one to help you.

Keys are removed using a small punch and a hammer. The punch of choice is called a ***** punch

There is a website called onesharpstore.com, It carries parts for the hobart 30 quart mixer. I specifically saw the bowl and hook attachments as well as others like beaters and a cheese and vegetable grater. Hope this helps. hi i work for hobart and these part numbers dont sound right.you have to make sure you have the ml number or spec number to get the correct parts.you can call your local hobart branch and they will help you further.
