Currently have to go to garage to switch outdoor lamos on each side of garage door. can I install some type of timer so lamps come on at certain time???? currently 2 switches, one to turn outside, one to turn light on in garage.
Why not connevct them up to a movement sensor, that way they come on when you make a movement near them. So they dont fire off when cats or birds fly by make sure you set them to close to your height. Then you can see your way to the shed turn the lighjt on that you can now see where the switch is and then turn it back off when you leave. Most of these sensor lights can be set toa timed on period
cheap and easy to install
forgot to add this in as it may be more relevent to my previous suggestion
You can buy an electronic timer that plugs into the normal light socket. it has a female plug that allows you to plug a device into it and the rotating timer has losts of raisable pins set at 15 min itnervals that turn device on or off. Set it to the correct time of the day and thyen set pins to turn on time turn off time. The cost is about $AU20 and you get 2 in a blister pack ARLEC or GE
nothing could be easier
