This lcd tv was given to me but the sound doesn't work. I have hooked up speakers to it via a receiver but I want the sound from the tv. Any suggestions?

- Press Menu
- Press 991
- Go down to Memory recall and press enter
- It will ask you "ARE YOU SURE"?
- Select "Yes" and press enter
- It will take you back the menu screen, turn off the TV and turn it back on

It might be that the PS3 is sending an incompatible signal to the TV. I'd connect the PS3 using normal RCA jacks, and make sure that the video mode in the PS3 menu is set to auto.

If the unit is only a few days old, I'd take it back under warranty for a replacement.
I have an idea what's wrong, but it involves ripping the unit apart and replacing parts, which would void your warranty - meaning if something more serious were wrong later, OR if there is more wrong with it than I think there is, you've lost your protection!
