SOURCE: I have a linksys WRT54GS router, every couple of : v7.50.2

I have the same router and had the same problem. I replaced the power supply and then put the unit on a UPS battery. Now it never goes down.

I have found that it 'gets clogged' .. I mean that the buffers dont get cleared if I do a lot of inbound video streaming. I can still make it hang by doing that, but the reboots have stopped since the UPS.

All my lights are lit i rebooted and still the same? why?

I believe you need to press and hold the reset button (5 to 10 seconds) at the back of the Linksys Router. You need a pen or any pointing device that would fit in the small hole.
Sometimes router have a firmware bug that need a full factory reset. If it doesn't work it means to say the Router is having a hardware problem.

Warning: Once you do this step it will wipe out all the information on the router and it will be reset to the factory settings. It's like buying a new router.

My compuer crashed now i can"t get router to work

Reset the router.Here is how:

Step 1 With the unit on, place a paper clip into the hole on the back on the unit labeled Reset.

Step 2 Hold paper clip down for 10 seconds and release.

Note: Do not repower unit during this procedure.

Step 3 The unit will reboot on its own. Once the WLAN light stops blinking, the unit is reset.

Resetting the router does not reset the firmware to an earlier version. It will change all settings back to factory defaults.

Note: The factory defaults username is admin, and there is no password.
