Hi Susan,
Basic Scanning
You can scan original documents and photos and save them as files on your
computer using the Epson Scan software. You can also launch Epson Scan from
any TWAIN-compliant application, such as Adobe Photoshop
1. Open the document cover and place your original face-down on the scanner
glass, in the front right corner, as shown on page 9.
2. Close the cover gently so you don't move the original.
3. Do one of the following to start Epson Scan:
Windows:
Double-click the EPSON Scan icon on your desktop.
Macintosh:
Double-click EPSON Scan in the Applications folder.
If you are scanning from an application, start your application. Then
open the File menu, choose Import or Acquire, and select your Epson
product
Select Full Auto Mode as the Mode setting
in the upper right corner. (If you are in
Home, Office, or Professional Mode, you see
a different Epson Scan window.)
5. If you want to restore faded color in a photo
or make other corrections, click Customize.
Then follow the instructions in the next
section.
6. Click the Scan button. The image is scanned
and you see its icon in Windows Explorer or
Macintosh Finder.

Hiya,
Right, this is yet another easy one in the bag for me, and another device that is gooing to be working properly.
The thing that I have for you is the user manual, so copy the link below into your web browsers' address bar, hit the enter buttton, click on the relevant file for your product, and ding dong, your'e all done; and guess what? thats right! by the time youve boiled your kettle, and had a cuppa, you should have read the manual, and likely solved your issue.
so the link?

Hi,
If their no feature in the printer software, you can scan with windows feature of printer & faxes in control panel.
SOURCE: I HAVE AN EPSON STYLUS
there is no facility for doing this on this model as it was manufactured as a stand alone that is what I have been informed from epson, you will just have to scan using your pc , no good if you have a bit of distance between the the two machines, if I had known this I wouldnt have bought the product , never mind eh!!
