This microwave's replacement countertop light is F60305H00AP. This can be obtained by going to www.panasonic.com/parts.

This is either the door sensing switch (most likely) or a bad membrane switch [start switch] (that's what Panasonic calls it) on the touch pad. The contacts on the door sensing switch can be slightly contaminated and not read "zero ohms" to the control PCB. The control board thinks that the door is open and it will not allow the cook cycle to start.

You may have a failed keypad or moisture or grease on the keypad innards or on the control circuit board itself.
