I had a similar problem with my Navman F20 (no sound through speakers but OK on headphones, through the T1 module). When I opened the back up, I found that the speaker connector had come loose from the PC board - it looks like it's a **** fit anyway.

Undo the two screws holding the case together and gently prise the two shells apart, I used a broad bladed kitchen knife. I found that the speaker plug had fallen out of the socket, popped it back in and Bob's ***********'s brother.

Hi, if it is the same as the F20 you can enter the Maintenance Menu by pressing Power and Main Menu button at the same time for a couple of seconds .
Scroll down to the Utility menu by using volume keys for up and down, then press menu button to select. From there select the sounds menu.
You should be able to play a choice of sounds, on mine its Mary had a little lamb. If that doesn't play then its the speaker thats gone bad.
By the way to escape to previous menu press the navigation button on the bottom right of unit.

Hi, I have Bose in-ear headphones and the sound is really bad on them since last night. It sounds like the music is really far away and without any base. I can only feintly hear the singer and one...

It sounds like you have a faulty connection between the headphones and the music device. Try fiddling with the port of your computer, iPod, or whatever else you use to listen to music. If the headphones do this on more than one device, it's a problem with them. Fiddle with the cord while you listen and see if you can target the bad area of the cord. If you can manage to listen to the headphones successfully while tweaking the cord, you might be able to use them still, if not they're probably blown or dead. Hope this helps =]

Technosonic LCD TV no sound

Hi my name is Roety,
I can help you with your issue ,
The headphone jack has a switch that turns off the speakers. Either you left part of the jack still in the socket or the switch is now stuck

No sound out of headphones!

It was easy when I found out what happened.
I'm sure people did this, causing them not to get sound out of their headphones.
Well, you have to push the headphones all the way in.

How do you get the sound to play from headphones only and listen to radio while dvd is playing?

Headphone jack

when the sound device is installed it should give you sound effect manager or sound device,to access this go to START then CONTROL PANEL then SOUND SPEECH AND AUDIO DEVICE,open Sound Effect Manager, then Sound Effect, select Headphones from the Enviroment Dropdown and click ok.test this output now.

If this doesn't resolve the problem ,
reinstall device again.

Hooking up wireless headphones into the tv

u have to split the signal by having both the tv and the headphones getting the input,as you're probably only have the audio cables going to the headphones. You need an audio splitting cable (it has 4 malle connections) so you can put 2 in the tv and 2 in the headphone base.
