Intex Automatic Salt Water System for Above Ground Saltwater Pool Logo
Anonymous Posted on Jun 21, 2009

My unit turns on, flashes 88 and then goes dead.

I have to unplug it and plug it back in to get it to turn on again. And it just does the same thing. Could it be a fuse? If so where do I find it to replace?

Our dryer does not function after a slight power outage due to an electrical storm. The number 88 blinks for a minute then goes to 18 . There is no response to the control panel , no buttons work!

brand and model numbers would be very helpful. without this info, I would try unplugging, wait about a minute, then plug back in. sometimes units can be reset by just cycling the power. Good luck.

Samsung side by side RFG297AAWP display shows 88 88

Press and hold the energy saver button, and the lighting button at the same time until it beeps and clears, 10 seconds. When it goes back to normal panel do the same thing again which will put the fridge in a running diagnosis mode and see if any parts of the 8's are flashing, if so look on the back of the fridge at the error codes.

My Panasonic SC-HT995W keeps on flashing W and the rear speakers wont work. Ive tried turning off all other wireless devices but it still persists

I had exactly the same problem. My unit worked fine until a loose power cable resulted in the receiver being turned on and off a couple of times in quick succession and then after this the a/c in light on the rear speaker was lit but the wireless link light would not come on (and the 'W' on the main unit flashed constantly). The solution for me was basically a reboot. This is what I did;
- unplug the wireless receiver
- unplug the main unit
- remove the digital transceiver unit from its slot in the back of the main unit
- plug the main unit back in and turn it on - the 'W' won't flash as the transceiver has been removed (not sure if you if it's necessary but I made sure it was producing sound to the front speakers)
- unplug the main unit again
- reinsert the digital transceiver
- plug the main unit back in, turn it on and set it to produce output/sound (the 'W' will be flashing)
- then plug the wireless receiver back in again
...presto the link is made, the 'W' stops flashing and the rear speakers work again.

Hope this elaborate reboot works as well for you as it did for me.

Samsung Intensity Wont turn on.

More often then not its the battery even tho the battery is fully charged as it may seem. The rel test is get a new battery not your friends battery tho but a new one put it in there and let it charge. If that doe not work then the phone's logic board has been effected and it may or might not be worth reviving. But check the battery first.

Power goes off!

I have the same model as you.

Plug in the transmitting unit into a good working power outlet. Make sure you have the audio connected to a loud source. Turn on the source device producing the loud audio to be transmitted to your headphones. Now see if the transmitting unit's LED light is on. Check headphones for audio. (May have to tune in the headphones and adjust its volume as well).
I recommend that the source of your audio have its built-in speakers off, while still providing audio out to your transmitting unit, via an external audio output. Check your source manual or look for audio jacks on the front or back. There may be a setting to turn this on and for the main built-in speakers to be turned off as well.

If this does not work, unplug the transmitting unit, and then plug it back in again, after waiting for about 10 seconds - all while audio is being provided to the unit. It should come on.

Remember that if the audio to the transmitting unit is quiet OR off for about one minute, the transmitting unit will turn off and you will hear FM noise, loudly, on your headphones. This is due to the "lack of audio" timer built-in to the transmitting unit.

Dead, plug in, powers up, goes dead

This is the typical way that drive belt problem occur. The mechanism needs some slip to accomodate the changing reel speeds as the tape plays, but if it slips too much, the reels don't move at all, the processor thinks there is a problem and turns off.
Time for a belt job.
