That faucet has a lifetime warranty. Call Kohler (1-800-4-Kohler) and tell them you need a new cartridge for a K-10270 faucet.

SOURCE: kohler forte single control kitchen, low colder water pressure

1. If it is old enough, it is time to replace the control cartridge.

2. Check your supply stops under the counter, check that they are both supplying full pressure.

SOURCE: One of the handles on my Kohler faucet does not

Removing the faucet stems and coating them( inside and out) with plumber's silicone lubricant should solve the problem. If the stem is too corroded, you may need to replace the stem.

It looks like the valve is installed from the bottom of the fixture, My guess is that the entire fixture has to be removed to get to the valves.

Our cold water handle has to be removed and cleaned every month or so in order for the fawcett to move freely. The hot water handle seems to be fine. It's a Kohler forte and is around 3 years old. Thank...

This is due to impurities in the water. The hot water heater separates alot of the crud in the water and the cold water goes right to the sink. adding a filter to your system will prevent the buildup.
Thank you Joe

My faucet is running a steady stream of water. I am not very handy. How do I fix this? Do I have to take the faucet apart on from under the sink and then try to fix something that way, or can I take off...

Replace the valve cartridge. Instructions are here. http://411plumb.com/kohler-forte-faucet-troubleshooting-repair-guide You can take the cartridge to a plumbing supply store to be sure you get the right replacement. If you replace both, be sure to put the new hot and cold cartridges in the correct places.
Hardware stores carry many cartridges. You can check there first if it is more convenient.

Dripping faucet

Take a cloth and lay over the top of the stem so as not to damage it. With pliers, grasp the top of the stem and turn it a quarter turn counter clockwise. The stem should lift right out.
