Chances are you batteries are beyond their usable life and need replacement -OR- you have a disconnect between either battery and the chair. Please check to make sure the circuit breaker isn't popped, all the fuses under the shrink-wrap on the positive terminals are good and that the battery connectors are seated properly. If the batteries each measure 12-14 volts at the battery post while the chair is plugged in and either drop below 10volts when unplugged then your batteries need replacing.
Richard The seat is probably rusted on the seat post It will take alot of turning and pulling upward at the same time to get it off. Try spraying a penetrant on the post just below the seat to see if that will help with the turning and pulling just keep at it. It can be a tedious task and frustrating Hope this helps
You definitely need new batteries. There are 2 size U-1 batteries in the chair that will last between 1.5 and 2 years. Get the deep cycle sealed gel lead acid batteries, preferably AGM. Hope this helps.
Unplug the joystick cable under the seat remove the seat if on a post lift handle on right side under seat and lift seat off post if not look for release levers behind front seat post and seat will rotate backwards to give you access to the batteriesdisconnect battery cables and install as on old batteries to new ones and reinstall Hope this helps
I have a Jiffy Jet3 . the problem is when I charge the batteries
the light indicator just blinks but chair doesnt run.
I just put new batteries and still doesnt run,,,thanks J.J.F.
If the battery is dead I would have the batteries load tested. Let it charge 12-14 hours. To operate the chair push the power button and push the joystick in the direction that you want to go.
