THE DOOR OPENED WHILE SPINNING NOW THE DOOR WONT LOCK WHAT CAN I DO ?

Does it move at all in the spin cycle? If it does, try to open the door during the spin cycle and tell me if the door opens or stays locked.

Check and make sure your pump or filter is not clogged, then next I would suspect you have a faulty door lock mechanism

Is water hooked up to the washer?

The door will remained locked while draining water. If during installation the washer was plugged in and turned on without water hoses attached, the washer may attempt to drain for 8 minutes before the door unlocks. Let the washer run until the door unlocks. Do not turn off the washer or unplug the washer.
Does water remain in the washer after the final spin?

If water remains in the washer after the final spin, then the door will not unlock. Select Drain/Spin or Spin Only to remove any remaining water from the washer. The door should unlock at the end of the cycle. For models that have Rinse/Drain & Spin, push the Extra Rinse button to turn off the rinse to remove excess water.
Is the door locked and the Add A Garment light on?

If the Add A Garment light is on, then the washer door will unlock after the Pause/Cancel button is pressed once. Pressing the Start button will restart the washer at the same point where it left off in the cycle.
Is the door locked and the Add A Garment light off?

If the Add A Garment light is off, then the washer door will unlock after the Pause/Cancel button is pressed twice. The door will not immediately unlock while the cycle is running due to a possible high-water level in the washer, high-water temperature, tumbling or spinning. It may take up to five minutes for the washer to stop spinning and draining before the door will unlock. You will hear the door click when it unlocks.

I fixed mine by replacing the door lock they are about 50.oo
The door lock has two locks, one is instant when you push start the other is a time lock, so you cant open the door for a little if you stopped it during the spin cycle. The problem is what they call the WAX switch or heater. When power is applied to this WAX lock it takes 30 to 60 sec. to lock and to unlock when power is removed.
The machine will not spin, if this lock is not working correctly.
You cant bypass it by jumping the power from one side of the shitch to the other. The board moniters the power draw and when the switch closes the lock contacts. You can how ever open up the lock very easy and bend the contacts closer to get you by for the weekend. unplug washer, remove the two screws on the back of the top panel behind the washer, remove top, open front door and remove the two screws that hold the lock, reach in an pull up the lock, remove wires, now open up lock and bend the piont contacts in side or install new switch.

Sounds like the rod that goes from the lock to the key came off. There is usually a little plastic clip that holds it together and they break and you get what you are experiencing. You have to take the inside panel off of the door to get inside it.

A Door Unlock Error occurs if the door cannot be unlocked. It will try to unlock the door 6 times before displaying the error.

• Door Lock Mechanism broken.
• Check Door Lock/Switch Assembly for foreign objects
• Check Wire Harness connections to the Door Lock/Switch Assembly and Central Control Unit (CCU)
• Door Lock/Switch Assembly Failure

On page 3-1 the manual explains that if the washer shuts off during the spin cycle, the problem points to a weak spring in the door lock mechanism.

"Shuts OFF In The Middle Of The Spin Cycle:
During the spin cycle, the machine control
monitors the door lock mechanism to ensure
the door is locked. This is done through the
door lock enable switch. During "lock mode,"
the shaft of the door lock mechanism is
pressed forward by the door lock wax motor,
and the shaft presses in the button of the door
lock enable switch. If the machine control
board sees the switch OPEN during the spin
cycle, the machine control board will automatically
shut the washer OFF. This is caused
by a weak spring in the door lock wax motor.
Replace the complete door lock mechanism.

Try buttons "dry" & "spin" together for a few seconds. This is the child lock display.

Or press "end of cycle" for over 5 seconds.

Or press "options & select" till the light goes off.

well, Either clip on the door is faulty or its the door interlock in which the door locks into easily replaced by undoing the clip pullling back the door rubber and replacing ..
