Yes people do, its a Ricoh box call your local Ricoh dealer, and they/we do service these, your problem is a hot section error.

sc320 on the Lanier 5635 is a laser unit error code. Often if you power cycle the machine (turn it off with the orange power switch on the left side of the copier, wait a few seconds, then turn it back on) the code will clear and the copier will resume normal operation. If the error code comes back or doesn't clear, you'll probably need to replace either the entire laser assembly or the polygon mirror motor inside the laser unit. Press "clear/stop" and "8" at the same time. An error code will be displayed in the copy quantity window as long as those two button are held down. What is the error code? Each code is specific to different areas of the copier. I will be more than happy to assist you in resolving.

1, press "clear mode", "107", then press and hold down "clear/stop" key.
2, touch "copier SP" on the screen.
3, enter "5810-001" press enter.
4, set value to 0, then turn power off and back on again.

What is the error code? Many of the codes refer to a general electrical problem, and often turning the machine off, resetting the circuit board connectors and harnesses and memory sticks, and turning the machine back on will clear the error code and allow the machine to boot up normally.
