How do you tighten the timing chain on a crf 230f dirtbike its an 08 model

There is no way to tighten chain, there is a spring or plastic tensioner that keeps chain in place.2003 if you have done a lot of riding it may be time for new one.you need to change chain, tensioner if thereis one,and the plastic chain slide that chain rides on.Good Luck.

Tears timing chain ajuster off nissan1989 four times

I'm assuming that you are talking about 1989 Nissan Truck 4WD 3.0L FI 6cyl.

In this models, the Z24i and KA24E engines do not use the pin counting method for finding correct valve timing. Instead, set the timing chain by aligning its mating marks with those of the crankshaft sprocket and camshaft sprocket. The camshaft sprocket should be installed by fitting the knock pin of the camshaft into its No. 2 hole. On the Z24i engine, the No. 2 timing mark must also be used.

Excatly, what is the problem? Adjuts timing procedure?

I have a struck in the top valve cover, the mechanic says it needs calibration, what do you think

FIRST THING CHECK THE ENGINE OIL LEVEL!
IT COULD NEED A VALVE AJUSTMENT BUT THAT IS NOT COMMON.
THE TIMING CHAIN ,GUIDES AND TENSIONER WORN OUT IS MORE LIKLY.
IF IT HAS BEEN RUN WITH LOW OIL FOR A LONG TIME THE ENGINE BEARINGS COULD BE DAMAGED
