It could be located in one of the fuse boxes under the hood. Search ebay for "toyota cooling fan relay" you will see all the images of all possible relays. It could be an amplifier relay from under the dash or two relays (low fan and high fan) relays under the hood. See what matches your problem. Always read the diagram on the back of the fuse box cover to match the fan relay.

Cooling fans won't run

Check the cooling fan relays, and the fuses, also if the thermostat is stuck, the coolant sensor will not sense the hot coolant, and will not activate the relay that turns the cooling fans on,also,if the coolant is low,or has air in the system it will do this also.

On the thermostat housing, the repair guide I see shows two one on top of the housing(controls the left fan) and one to the side(for the right fan)but this could also be caused by the cooling fan relay.

Fan cooling problem. which and where is the relay or fuse for the cooling fan? I need a diagram showing me what the relays are for and what they operate.

I have the original owners manual, and it says that there is a fuse (No 16) and a relay (No 10) for the blower motor. I've same troubleshooting right now. If you wants send me a email to [email protected] to send you a scan imagen of the fuses diagrams.
