Hi,

The problem of failing to power on can be caused by:
1. dead battery (may no longer hold a charge);
2. corroded battery terminals or connectors;
3. open wiring from the battery casing to the internal circuitry;
4. defective on/off switch; and/or
5. defective regulator component(s) on the main PCB.

On the other hand, problem on receive can be caused by:
a. defective or worn out volume control (if manual/rotary);
b. defective or worn out squelch control (if manual/rotary);
c. mismatch in PL or CTCSS code; and/or
d. defective internal speaker.

Most can be checked with the use of a continuity tester or a DVM. Repairs involve knowledge and familiarity with electronic components and circuitry and perhaps even the use of a soldering iron. Should you not be comfortable doing it yourself, perhaps your best bet would be to seek the services of a qualified professional.

Hope this be of help. Pls post back how things turned out or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Cloning
These radios support cloning parameters between a master and slave radio.
Cloning only transfers the user's settings from the master radio to the slave. Things like tuning values, serial number, etc. are not changed.
To clone a master radio to a slave (target), perform the following:

    • Make sure both radios are off
    • Connect the cloning cable between the two radios through the programming port
    • Turn on the slave radio
    • Press and hold the "A" button on the master radio and turn it on
    • The master radio will display CLONE if cloning can proceed, otherwise an error will be displayed
    • The slave radio will display PROG while it is being programmed
    • When cloning is complete, the master radio will display END and the slave radio will reset automatically
    • Disconnect the radios from the cloning cable

SOURCE: how to program frequences in a radius p110 radio

The P110 radio is computer programmable. The software is Motorola proprietary, so it is only available to Motorola dealers and a few select types of end-users. The best option is to have it programmed by a dealer. (Just for a cost example: Our dealership does them for $15 plus shipping.)

SOURCE: Motorola T5000 Two Pack 2-Way Radio

Generally a crackling sound coming through a speaker indicated the speaker is damaged (or blown). This can happen due to phyical damage such as dropping; old age' or running the device at full volume most of the time. The T5000 is a non-repairable radio. If less than one year old you may be able to get it replaced under warrranty. If more than one year old, you will need to replace the unit.

How can I find freq Motorola gp2000

It takes a computer, programming cable and the software. Best to take it to a dealer. The other way is to use a frequency counter. It displays the frequency when you transmit. But that is way too limited, you really need professional help with a business band, professional radio.

Motorola cp 100 wont transmit

Loss of transmit can be caused by several things, however the first to come to mind are a bad (or poorly charged battery) or the radio frequency and/or PL code being changed, moving it away from the other radios.

Best regards.

How could i program/change the freq of my motorola gp2000 manually

I don't think that you could program/change the freq of your Motorola GP2000 manually since newer Motorola radios today everything is done by computer and programming sotfware. You need to have software for GP2000, radio interface box ( RIB) and programming cable for GP2000 radio and these devices are not cheap. The best way is to contact a local repair shop to have it done for you or find a two-way radio technician, he could do this if he has all the test equipments required.
Good luck!
