I have the same problem. ¿What happened when the problem started? I disconnected them and left them thus for a day or so. When I tried again, the problem happened. Did you find a solution yet?

Electrical parts were bad, I returned the speakers for replacement under warranty. FYI... I opened the back and noticed an electrical burn smell.

The power always is on, despite the position to off of knob on-off, when knob is in off position the music is off but the power continues always on. The only way to disconnect it is pulling out the power...

Does the knob click or have a detent when you turn if fully clockwise? You should feel a little resistance before it is fully to the off direction. There is a blue LED that indicates power is on... note that it might take a little time to fully go out when switch is turned off as the capacitors do hold a charge and LED's take very little to illuminate. If both units are acting the same, I suspect you may not be turning the knob quite hard enough to turn off the switch... you should not force it, but it will offer a bit of resistance.

CANNOT GET HPh204 speakers to work via usb

Usual problem is that in the Windows control panel under "Sounds and devices" the speakers are not the default and the settings are for the internal speakers. If the M1 are not in the list in the "Sounds and devices" you don't have the drivers loaded properly.

Right speaker sounds louder than left thanx

Besides checking balance, cables and length of cables can cause that. If cable is weak, or if one side is longer than the other, you'll get that effect

I record a podcast with the 8track multimix usb Alesis. I use one XLR - Jack input and the rest XLR-XLR. There are 4 inputs being used in total. I seem to be getting alot of hiss and buzzing from the...

What is the source of the input signals? These need to be balanced lines and the sources need to be balanced. If you happen to be using condenser mics, you probably haven't turned on the Phantom Power in the mixer. If you are recording from a sound card in the PC, those have a lot of noise and are unbalanced and you have to use DI's with ground lift ahead of this mixer.

I would come out of the line out jacks on the studio into the line in jacks on the speakers. Make sure both ends of the cables have the correct plugs on them. I'll include a link in case you don't have the correct manual:http://www.alesis.com/content1023
