Eurovox 'Maestro Series' 10 stacker displaying 'E-99'

You are supposed to hold down the "OFF" button for about 6 seconds until the radio flashes. I ftyhis doesn't work try holding the "ON" butto. I think you have to do this with the radio on. In my unit, I still have a problem loading the CD Stacker, but this is what the manual says. Good luck.

How To Reset Your Magellan Maestro/Roadmate GPS Units

Factory Reset
Do not attempt to perform a factory reset on the Roadmate or Maestro GPS units by holding down both the "Reset" and "Power" buttons. This will cause the GPS unit to format its own hard drive. Doing so will erase all data, including the GPS software, from the unit.
  1. Locate the button marked "Reset" on the left, right or bottom of the unit.
  2. Using a thin object, such as a paper clip, depress the button for two to three seconds. The unit should reset.
  3. If the unit does not reset, immediately press the button again and hold it for up to 10 seconds.
If your Maestro GPS Touch Screen Doesn't work, try performing a Hardware Reset
  1. Remove the Magellan Maestro from the holding cradle.
  2. Hold down the "Power" button on the right side of the device, until the unit powers on.
  3. Straighten the end of a paper clip. Place the paper clip in the reset hole, located on the left side of the GPS unit. Hold down the "Reset" button for 10 seconds. Remove the paper clip.
  4. Turn the Magellan Maestro unit off by holding down the "Power" button. Turn the unit back on again. The device is now reset.

If your Roadmate GPS is locked up, try performing a Hardware Reset
  1. On the RoadMate, press + + - - + -
  2. The "hidden menu" will appear.
  3. From there, you can access the shell and perform a hard reset.
