Where are the files on my coby digital recorder, I only see them when it is hooked up to my pc

SOURCE: Digital Voice Recorder VN-3100PC transer from PC back to recorder

With this particular model of recorder that functionality is not possible as when the recorder is connected to the computer it is not a USB Mass Storage Device. It will only files to be downloaded to the computer not uploaded back.

Click on the tools, select speaker, then pc speaker. Even if it is already selected. If that doesnt work, check for software updates.

Coby Voice Recorder CXR-190 wont work with MAC - any solutions?
Coby only claims the CXR-190 is compatible with Windows Vista/XP/2000. I'm afraid your best solution is to use a Mac-compatible voice recorder.
If you need the recordings currently on the machine, copy them onto a PC and then transfer them to your Mac.

Can't import to my mac
The CX-R190 is not designed to be compatible with the Mac. However, if the recordings you want are on the microSD card, you can simply remove the card from the recorder and insert it into a card reader (either built-in to your computer or connected via USB or FireWire) and copy the files the same way you copy any other files on your Mac.

yeah you can actually dowload song from youtube to coby mp3
you just have to dowlaod "Realplayer" in ur computer and when you open youtube it will say at the top if you want to dowload songs ..i hope it was helpful for you :D
