Assuming you didnt leave a floppy disc in the drive causing windows to boot from floppy, if you have disconnected the drive you have to tell the bios not to look for the drive.
Press F2 or Del while the pc is booting up and in the first window may be the option Halt on all errors, dissable this if it is enabled and also there should be a section to check for the floppy drive on boot up (this can stop the boot sequence if not found), dissable this also, this part could be in the main window where it shows the date and time or in the advanced cmos settings.
If you have changed anything save settings and exit.
Any pc will boot without the floppy drive, so there must be something stopping it from booting and at the moment it points to the floppy.
