Just got a new iphone 3g...does my sim card from Samsung phone transfer?
Yes, provided the iPhone 3G is not locked with any other different network. If it is then, you need to unlock the iPhone. To unlock an iPhone the remote unlock service would be a better option because, you need not give your mobile to someone else nor do you have any chance to enter the wrong unlock codes. To get such an unlocking service for your iPhone 3G approach Wickedunlock.com and by submitting the country and network to which the mobile is locked to you will be able to remove the restriction from the respective network. This will be a permanent unlocking solution. Once unlocked you can swap networks. The iPhone 3G supports Mini sim...and hence insert the respective sim size.
SOURCE: Exporting Contact Phone numbers back to sim card
write them down and then save them on your sim from your old phone
SOURCE: Cannot import contact from sim card to iphone 3G
Turn off the iPhone before inserting the sim, insert sim, turn on, import contacts. If you put the sim in the phone without restarting it for some reason it doesn't get all the contacts sometimes.
SOURCE: How do I transfer my picture from my 3G iphone to pc?
Use a USB Bluetooth Adapter or an Infrared USB Adapter if you want wireless transfer, but if you like to transfer with cable, use a 3G iphone USB Datacable. That's it, u can transfer pictures to your PC now, goodluck. i hope I have solved your problem. Thank you......
SOURCE: Sim card causes iPhone to overheat and drains the battery.
I've tried to lock the iPhone to my tele provider in stead of letting it search for available networks (the automatic option in settings). Seems to work. But I will also get a new sim card. Strange problem though...
