Hi.
If Quicken is shutting down you won't be able to access your accounts. You need to repair the software first.
All you can do is trying to start in safe mode by pressing F8 on startup and check if Quicken can start in safe mode.
If the problem started recently, you can try doing a system restore to a date before the problem started.
You find System restore from Start button at:
Start>Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore
If that does not fix the problem, then you need to reinstall Quicken using the software CD and your licence number. If you choose to reinstall on top of the existing installation you wont loose any setting (repair).
If quicken does not reinstall from current account, then create a new account with administrator privileges and then reinstall quicken from the new account.
If you are still not able to remove and reinstall the software you can try using the
free Microsoft utility available here to remove recently installed software.
Note: A new Quicken setup does not delete your data, but there is the chance that data had been previously damaged. In that case you can use a recent backup, or try recovering damaged data, see
Basic troubleshooting to correct data file damage
