Wrong mileage at times

Hi, Try moving your computer to a different room. If you have florecent lighting it will have some effect or you are too close to other electronic such as TV, heating system etc.. Good luck

Some of the voices on Garmin satnavs speak streetnames and others don't. Press Tools, then press settings, then press Language. You'll see the Voice name. Press it and select a different one. (American English Jack or Samantha TTS will speak the streetnames). Press OK and it should then be ok.

My Garmin 780 says the same thing. "NO VOICE FOUND" I reinstalled voiced like 5 times already. And after a little while voices dissapears again! What the heck is wrong with this unit????

The Garmin 750 has a software bug that happens if "loading Maps" takes a long time. The voice gets changes to "Afrikanes" or "none"and won't work. To fix go to tools , settings, language check voice settings for prpoer selection.turn unit off and after 20 seconds turn back on this should reset the voice settings. Check your software version the latest from Garmin is 4.80

That has happened to me several times. When it happens I go to Tools > Settings > Language. In my case, the Voice field is empty, so I click on the Voice field and then select American English-Jill (TTS) and it's okay afterwards.

Hi, my 760 had the same problem, and a stutter when speaking street names. I fixed both by upgrading the software to v4.60 using the Garmin Webupdater.

Go back into your tools and settings and re select the voice of american jack and see if it comes back on.
I lost the voice 2 days ago while on a trip from tenn. to florida and this fixed it. we never shut off the voice but somehow while using bluetooth or FM trans it shut off voice transmiting.

all of a sudden we have no voice on the jack or on speaker, have tried to turn down setting and turn them up again...no luck no voice...

Garmin Street pilot i5 lost voice. Any suggesstions

I had an i5 that lost voice. I fixed it by just replacing the speaker. Take it apart and measure the resistance on the speaker. If it is open or not 8 ohms, then you can use this speaker.
