To reset the chronograph hands on an Accurist 7344 watch, you will need to follow these steps:
Pull out the crown to the second click (time-setting position)
Press and hold the top button (located at 2 o'clock) until the chronograph seconds hand returns to the 12 o'clock position.
Release the button and then press and hold the bottom button (located at 4 o'clock) until the chronograph minutes hand returns to the 12 o'clock position.
Release the button and push the crown back in to the normal position.
It's important to note that these steps may vary depending on the specific model of your Accurist 7344 watch. If these steps don't work, refer to the manual or contact the manufacturer for more detailed instructions. Additionally, if the chronograph hands don't move at all, check the battery and make sure it's properly inserted and the watch is working properly after replacing it, if not, contact Accurist customer service for more assistance.
This watch appears to be a battery operated model from the details I can find. Self Winding watches tend to be a LOT more expensive and usually a Big brand name! Assuming the Chronograph is designed to work the two buttons are usually 'Start/Stop', (top button) and 'Reset', (bottom button). Try this.
-Press the top button once. The smaller dials should start moving.
-Press the top button again. The smaller dials should stop moving.
-Press the bottom button once. The dials should reset to zero.
There is another function of the Reset button. You can 'Freeze' the chronograph display for things like lap times.
-Start the chronograph, (Top button once).
-Press the Reset button once, (Bottom button). The dials should stop. The chronograph is still running you have simply paused the display.
-Press the Reset button again. The dials should 'Jump' to the current position the timer is at.
-Press the Top button once to stop the chronograph.
*Note* Some of the cheaper watches simply have the dials and buttons for the look of it and don't actually work.
This is a chronograph watch. The top button starts the second hand (the chronograph) the bottom button resets the chronograph to zero. You need to first press the top button to start and the press the top button again to stop. then press the bottom button to reset. The hands will not reset if you have not stopped by the top button.
Two push buttons is for chronograph function. When you push the upper button - chronograph starts, second push on same button - stops the chronograph. Push on lower button - chronograph resets to zero.
Rate me, plz.
1. Pull out the time set mode button. 2. Press the upper right button repeatedly until the sweep hand makes it back to 00/60. 3. Press the time set button back into normal position.
Try setting the crown to position 2 - i.e. the position normally used to adjust the date. Then use the top and bottom stopwatch buttons to adjust the minute hand and 1/10th hand respectively.
for my victorinox, the crown out one position and the reset button (lower chronograph button) changes the minute hand and the top (start/stop button) does the 10th's of a second...crown all the way out and top (start/stop button) does 30 second intervals for the minute counter.
