Notepad uses the file extension ".txt"

You can open this file in Word and then choose "Save As" and change it to the Word format (.doc or .docx).

I would assume the scanning feature is using OCR (optical character recognition) and, after the scan, the default is to save it in a .txt format so it will open in almost any computer.

You can set your computer to use Word to open .TXT files automatically. You would still have to choose the "Save As" and change the format to Word before you can make meaningful editing changes (elaborate fonts, stationary, etc.) as .TXT files have only the most basic formatting available.

use built-in quick office in the device then browse where the .txt file is. or you may download e-book reader that reads .txt format then browse where the .txt file is.

this problem appear only you using internet on ur mobile....

You will need to convert the PDF to a txt file to open the file on the Coby MP-707. You can carry it on the MP3 player to open with a computer with Adobe Reader or any Office Suite that handles pdf conversion. For example, Open Office will import pdf files if you add the pdf extension - the pdf will end up in Draw, IIRC.

I do not know how well the PDF to txt converters work. Here is one program, http://www.pdfzilla.com/zilla_pdf_to_txt_converter.html, that doesn't require you to upload the file to the internet first. Additional options can be found by google: enter PDF to TXT conversion.

If you are searching in your CD/DVD than open the CD/DVD drive. Then open explore/open the MsOffice than find out the file/document name with Serial no."SN.txt or Key.txt" most of the Serial number or the product key are store in notepad. File/document extension name .txt

right click on the file name - open with - browse - select notepad or wordpad.
or just rename your file to .txt ex: xxxx.doc rename to xxxx.txt

You can recover the password, the best way is to download a file manager to your phone. I recommend Best Fileman
In the file manager you'll find under- C:\System\mmcstore -the file you're looking for, you have to rename the file- mmcstore.txt -then send it to another mobile or your PC via bluetooth open it on the other phone and your password will be revealed.
Rename the file- mmcstore.txt -to just- mmcstore -there might be another file named- mmcstore.txt -to view your password rename one or the other- mmcstore1.txt -one is for your phone PIN number the other your MMC card.

If your using windows:
Open cmd.exe (program files>accessories>command prompt)
use the sort command in this syntax:

sort "path name and or file name"

you may also use file exports like this for example:

sort birthdays.txt > sorted birthdays.txt (single forward will write over old files and make new ones)
sort birthdays.txt >> sorted birthdays.txt (use double forwards to made amendments to the file)

the "/R" function will reverse the sort order, for example:

sort /R birthdays.txt

First you install File Explorer Software on your Mobile and follow the Steps

2. Run FExplorer and Open the path C:system.
3. You will find a file called mmcstore ,rename the file mmcstore.txt
4. Copy that file(mmcstore.txt) to your pc and open that file in notepad.
5. You will find your password in that file.
