The two main reasons for this are the on off switch located on the back of the machine is switched off. the other is the flap to the grinders is not correctly fitted. other than this an exporative visit by an engineer may be required. there are two mains fuses situated by the cable inlet behind the rear panel.

240vac is then switched when the drip tray conntact connect. 240vac goes to both thermoblock heaters and pump.possibly a dead short inn the heating or pump circuit.check all connections and look for slack connections around the pumps. brewing motor runs and magnetic drian valve opens also at switch on, check also.

DESCALING
The Saphira has an integrated descaling program. The procedure takes about 60 minutes.
Once started, the descaling procedure may not be stopped.
• When acid-containing descalers are used, immediately remove any splashes or drops on
sensitive surfaces, particularly from natural stone and wood surfaces. Also, take the appropriate safety
precautions.
• Turn off the Saphira by pressing the "ON/OFF" button.
• Press the button "Descale" until an acoustic signal is heard.

Remove the water tank out.Then turn off the machine.Then turn on the machine.It will give message, water tank out or no water tank.Insert water tank then see.If it go further "please wait".
But if its still not going beyond please wait, then its internal fault.The temperature thermostat is stopped working or its not heating inside.So the unit is just displaying please wait.The thermostat and heating element has to be checked and replaced.------------
