Power off using the power button and press together TUNER PRESET CH + and TUNER PRESET CH. Remove fingers when Initialized appears on the screen. It will reset the Denon AVR-X2300W.

If your referring to the front flip down door press on the top middle section of the flip down panel
to release it

Could be a bad power transformer. Would have to be serviced

I had the same issue with my Denon AVR-1908.....It turned out to be the cable box, not the receiver. I would suggest you unplug your cable box, remove and reseat the cable card,HDMI cables, and finally the cable line itself. Make sure the wires are not frayed or otherwise pinched.

you would not need an amp at all just to view sky, only if you were routing sound to say a surround system.

Are you only getting no sound from the tv? or are you getting sound via the amp but not from the tv?
