Light bulbIf your
microwave light bulb is not working, perhaps it has blown. The first
step is to replace the bulb and power on the microwave. If this does not
correct the issue, the next step is to check the socket and wiring to
verify if that is the problem.
Light bulb socket & main control boardIf
your microwave light bulb is not working after the installation of a
new bulb, check the light socket as well as the wiring to ensure they
are properly operating. If these sources are functioning properly, the
next step is to check for a faulty control board as a possible root
cause to your microwave light bulb malfunction.
A domestic rangehood simply gets its supply from a power point in the cupboard above. A commercial rangehood would be on a designated circuit. The same wiring code covers Australia and NZ. Ignore him.
Hello: You have a wiring problem either in the fuse box under the drivers side dash or the fuse box under the hood, also where the wiring going to the engine control module.
I have a 600mm Chateau range hood with the same problem. To access the globe chamber, you need to first remove the plastic diffuser from the underside of the rangehood. Located at one end of the diffuser will be a small slot approx 10 mm long. Insert a small flat blade screwdriver into this slot and carefully depress the plastic tongue of the diffuser by gently pushing the head of the screwdriver away from the diffuser. As the tongue disengages from the frame you should be able to grasp the edge of the diffuser and pull it away from the frame. Once the diffuser has been removed from the frame, you will be able to change the globe.
To reinstall the diffuser, insert the plain end of the diffuser into the frame of the the rangehood (above the globe) and gently push the clip end back to its flush position.
The Link Below will take you to their website archive page. You will need the exact model number, with all numbers and letters, from the plate on the unit (Probably inside the vent filter). Click on "Please select a model" and choose your model from the drop-down list and three links will appear. One will be the "Parts and Service Manual PDF" Clicking on this link will give you the wiring Diagram.
My Baumatic Rangehood model BAISL92.2 had the letter A flashing. I was advised by a repairman that it indicated the filters needed to be cleaned with warm soapy water. Apparently in my particular model there is a built in 30 hour timer for when the filters need to be cleaned. To remove the flashing letter A, I was advised to clean the filters, turn off the rangehood and while it was off, press the (-) (minus) button and hold for 5 seconds. It beeped and the flashing letter A was removed. This worked for my particular model - I couldn't guarantee it would be the solution for your model. I hope this is some help.
