Just install the webcam with the cd that came with the cam. The programs on the CD will install the correct drivers and programs for al known operating systems. When the install is complete it will ask you how to use the cam and with what programs

WEBcams are a throw away items and not worth fixing, if you could get it fixed, the cost is likely be close to a new WEBcam.
To determine if the WEBcam is faulty and not the computer, connect to WEBcam to a different computer to see if it works. You may need to install the WEBcam driver. After testing you can uninstall the WEBcam driver.

instal the driver who came with the webcam or download this program is free from here www.radarsync.com.

Have you checked the Windows Device Manager (in the Control Panel) to see if the webcam device is working properly?
You can also try using another chat program to confirm the webcam is working (try Skype, Yahoo or AIM).

Fix this by making sure your webcam is working.

Make sure all other software running the webcam is closed before opening MSN/ SKype etc.

Webcam fix

The Vista webcams from Jasco haven't hit the market yet. So basically your webcam isn't compatible with your machine. There is however a possible fix at www.jascoproducts.com. Go to Support, then click on Browse and Update Microsoft Vista certified products and scroll all the way to the bottom of the page. You will see two webcams listed with fixes. This is not a guarantee as this webcam does not have the chipset for Vista, however it has worked for a lot of folks. Good Luck!
