  • According to my information your one-year warranty for iPhone includes replacement coverage for a defective battery. First check it whether your iPhone is within warranty or not. If it is out of warranty, Apple offers a Battery replacement for iPhone, subject to local tax. For the products like built-in batteries, only Apple should replace the batteries or an Apple authorized service provider. Apple and its authorized service providers will ensure the spent battery is recycled properly, since batteries should always be recycled or disposed separately from household waste.

If you have a 0.8 starbit screwdriver, here's how. Open the back by removing the small screws. Slide the back cover up . Remove the back pannel , and pry up gently . there is a screw that holds it in place. remove and replace the battery with the new one. Replace the cover and screws. Nope this helps.

Why does my iPhone 4 Battery loses its charge in a few hours

The iPhone 4 has a limited number of charging cycles. The battery in the iPhone 4 is a older type of battery that does not keep well depending on the environment you live in. iPhone 4 is in "end of life" status with Apple and is no longer provides support. There is many cellular stores that will change the battery for $25. The replacement battery's are often better than the ones provided by Apple.

Macbook battery not charging

If it is under a year old, then you may have a case for a free replacement by Apple. If it is older, then you'll have to buy a new battery and recycle the old one. All laptop batteries have a maximum lifespan and will have to be replaced at some point in the future.

The phone is not coming on?

Remove and reinstall the battery, this is a common occurrence with this device. If this does not resolve the issue, then you may need to have the handset repaired, or replaced, If it is under 1 year old, then it should be covered under the warranty by RIM, who built the handset. I would recommend that you call your wireless provider to initiate this exchange.

Ipod won't power on. Computer won't recognize it.

Step 1: Check to see if your iPod can still be charged by charging it using a wall charger and wait for it to fully recharge.
Step 2: If it does charge fully, try using your iPod normally and see how long it lasts. If it lasts for only 2 hours, your iPod battery may be dying. If it doesn't charge at all your iPod may be dead.
Step 3: If either of the cases are true then you have two options:
  1. If your iPod is less than a year old, you can bring in your iPod to the Apple Store and have it replaced for free on the spot as part of its 1 year warranty.
  2. If it is older than 1 year, you can go to the Apple Store and have them replace the battery for a fee
  3. If you are looking for a new iPod anyway, go to the Apple Store with your old iPod, and tell them you are looking for a new iPod. They will give you a 10% discount when you hand your old one in.

8GB Ipod touch, won't charge any more, won't take a charge from the computer USB or the wall charger? What to do?

It seems like your iPod's battery has outrun its use.
There are 3 options you can choose from:
  1. If it is less than a year old, you can go to the Apple Store and they will replace the device for free on the spot as part of their 1 year warranty.
  2. You can choose to pay someone at the Apple Store a fee to replace the battery if it is older than a year
  3. If you are looking to get a new iPod anyway, bring an old one into an Apple Store, tell them you are looking to buy a new one, and you will get 10% off.

I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH KEYBOARD OF IMAC 24.How can open this keyboard?

There really are no user-serviceable parts inside an Apple keyboard.
If the keyboard is less than a year old, you can get it replaced for free under AppleCare (unless your problem was self-induced, like spilling a drink into it).
If it is more than a year old, I would recommend finding a replacement keyboard. Keep in mind that a Mac will work with any USB keyboard, and the software will let you remap the position of the command and option buttons to your taste.

I have an ipod shuffle i was just using it 2 days ago i tried to plug it in the computer and its doing nothing it wont charge and nothing is comming up.

What generation is this ipod, and how long have you owned it?
If it is more than one year old; it is most likely that your batteries life has expired.
With this model it is recommended to replace the unit rather then the battery as they are so close in price.

Hello babytiff,

Like all batteries, rechargable battery inside the iPod has a limited lifespan. The amount of play time that you get in between charges will gradually diminish over the life of the battery until youn get to a point where the iPod will no longer hold a charge.

If your unit is less then a year old the battery would be covered by the manufacturer's limited warranty and you should click the link and follow Apple's normal procedure for getting service on your MP3 player.

If you are outside of the manufacturer's warranty (which seems likely since you are posting here) then you have fewer options. Apple does offer a replacement programs for iPods with defective batteries. For a fee (around $60) you can trade your iPod in to get a refurbished unit with a new battery. For details on this program go to:

http://www.apple.com/support/ipod/service/battery.

Or, you could try to replace the battery pack. The internal battery is generally NOT considered to be user replaceable and I would not recommend attempting it unless you have some experience and are comfortable repairing delicate electronic devices. Taking apart and working on an MP3 plauer is not for the inexperienced or faint of heart. If you do have the requisite know how you can find several companies selling aftermarket battery kits for the iPod just by browsing around on the web.

Best Regards,
Ken
