first off the brakes must be good for ABS to work
so we inspect brakes or
or we use a real ABS scanner, the PCM scan tools do not scan ABS, (in most cases) so you need to use the correct tool.
The ABS tool will in fact show a code. for sure.
sounds like your Isuzu shop is incompetent to me.

are you tell us that you took the car to Isuzu and the ABS light was off?
well if that is true then , it can be impossible to fix.
after all , you cant fix that which is NOW working.

ask the mech to drive car for day with a real ABS scanner in the car, and when it fails , scan the ABS.
or buy one your self and do that.
or if rich replace parts 1 by 1 in the blind hope of finding which part is intermediate. $$$$$$$$

scan the ABS not the PCM the PCM only knows ABS is failing.
scan the ABS to see all ABS codes.
and do so , only with ABS lamp glowing.

You first need to scan your Antilock Brake System (ABS) computer to retrieve the fault codes set by the system failure. The fault codes are needed to identify the correct diagnostic and service procedure to repair the broblem with your ABS system. It will do absolutely no good to reset the computer memory to turn the light out if the system failure is not properly diagnosed and repaired. This will only result in the light coming back on again.

type goes into almost all chrysler vehicles & it is in the
owners manual & on the dip stick

When your having the abs checked out,ask about the
overdrive issue, by going on a road test, with you driving
& a mechanic riding or don't leave the truck at that shop

Depends on what caused the light to come on. Wheel speed sensors not reading because of faulty wiring or just plain worn out. ABS module or pump assembly. I would say you dont need a whole new system, Just the faulty parts repaired. You need to find out what code it has stored and go from there.

You need to have the brake system checked by a qualified Tech and have it repaired. The problem could be something as simple as replacing a caliper to a combination problem involving the master cylinder.

It sounds like you have a bad sensor on one of the wheels.Sometimes you can take the veh to autozone or advanced auto parts and they can hook it up to thier scanner and tell you which one is bad(they do this for free) if they have an abs scanner.
