Cannot open the device

When I plug it in the computer it shows up as a device but when I try to open it, it really takes a long time to finally say that this device cannot be opened. What can I do to get it to open?

SOURCE: I cannot open my hard drive. Is there anything I

I recently had 2 occasions at customers where a similar thing happened. On occasion 1 it was the hard disk(about 2 months old) that failed. After replacing the hard disk, everything was fine.

At the second customer, we found a enormous amount of viruses on the hard disk. After removing the viruses, the hard disk operated as normal. If you have a anti virus program, check the disk, regardless of how long it takes. You might also want to try another virus program just in case.

No signal from Diamond VC500 Capture Device

I have a similar problem. Sometimes it works fine, but it will often have sound but no picture in the box. Other times, there is no input signal showing when I click on the gear wheel to adjust settings. There is no rhyme or reason to the missing picture. Whe I play it back, I do have the picture - usually.

Cannot get Sony Handycam to connect via USB to my laptop

Hi Ken,
I have a Sony Handycam DCR-DVD610 and I had a simular problem today when trying to download videos I took as a test. I downloaded the software, then connected the power cord from the wall to the camera, then the USB cord from the camera to the computer. The software was suppose to automatically open up and recognize that the camera was plugged into the computer, but it didn't. I could not get the videos to download. So I called the Sony company and they were so nice and helpful. The man stayed with me and walked me through entirely on how to do it. You see I didn't finalize the disk. I only had DVD-R discs and I didn't realize that it must be finalized. After we finalized the disc, then I was told to take the disc out of the camera and insert it into the computer disc drive and then he proceeded to show me how to get them downloaded. If you need more step by step instructions, please let me know. Good Luck

Cannot delete the songs on mp3

I do mine through Windows Media Player
1)Plug in Sansa
2)Open up Windows Media Player and wait for the Sansa e250 icon to show up under the library. First time, might say 'What device is this' or 'Autoplay'-for autoplay, you click 'sync media files to Sansa e250 using WIndows Media Player'
3)When library shows, click 'Sync' if it is not already there.
4)Just simply click and drag the songs you want from the computer library to the list pane on the side.
5)Once your done, click 'Sart sync'

TO DELETE
1)Plug in
2)Wait for the icon under Library in WIndows Media Player
3)Go to Songs under Sansa e250
4)Right click desired songs and choose Delete. You only want to delete from Sansa e250-nothing else

Finalizing dvd

Hello,
Unplug the device from the outlet and wait 15 seconds before plugging back in. This will reset the device and stop the process, but it will not complete the process so you will have another incomplete dvd. Once you plug the device back in, you should be able to open and remove the disc and all functions should be back to normal. Let me know if you need further assistance.

If you do not mind, please rate my help I would greatly appreciate it.Thanks

E260 shows 0 MB memory and 0 MB free space after recovery

Look, I think the best thing to do is to return the product. Normally, they gave you a new one. My old one broke with a blank screen. So the bestbuy guy talked to his manager and gave me a new one.

Sansa e260 - memory gone?

Have you tried re-formatting while in MSC mode? I've had quite a bit of success with repairing some memory issues with simple reformat. (Fat32). My wife's was showing almost no memory and no music at all. I reformatted and reloaded her music and it works great!
