Whirlpool Quiet Wash Plus (927 Series) no longer turns on

I have a Whirlpool Quiet Wash Plus (927 Series) Dishwasher that no longer has power. I set it to wash one night, and the next morning the dishes were clean, but there was water at the bottom that did not drain. Since then, the lights on the front panel no longer turn on, and the dishwasher won't start. I have tried turning the circuit breaker on and off. I found a Whirlpool manual on the Whirlpool site...the only instructions that might be applicable are how to winterize the appliance by taking off the bottom front panel and disconnecting things. Could any one guide me on the correct steps to try myself? Thanks you!
